Great photo! That was fast work with the camera catching that! Enjoyed your post about living in a small space and I like the idea that you put away something after you use it... it seems so... living in the present..being responsible in the present... not leaving burens for the future... the constant gardener.. hmmm
Ha ha, yes, had to snap it quick before he got away. Thanks so much for your comments. (Good to know someone out there is reading it!) and you're right.. it's been a strange time in the Van these past 5 months, but I feel, among many other things, that it is certainly teaching me to be more present-centred.
My most recent book, ‘Vagabondage’ (UWAP) is a memoir about selling up my beautiful house and garden in Creswick, Victoria, and living in a campervan for a year. Previous books include ‘How to Conceive of a Girl’ (fiction) and ‘Things in a Glass Box’ (poetry). I’ve also written articles and opinion pieces for newspapers such as the Age and for ABC Radio. I have a PhD from the University of Ballarat and have been awarded several Literature Board grants and some fellowships and prizes. Find out more and read some of my writing at www.bethspencer.com.
