- Beth Spencer
- My most recent book, ‘Vagabondage’ (UWAP) is a memoir about selling up my beautiful house and garden in Creswick, Victoria, and living in a campervan for a year. Previous books include ‘How to Conceive of a Girl’ (fiction) and ‘Things in a Glass Box’ (poetry). I’ve also written articles and opinion pieces for newspapers such as the Age and for ABC Radio. Bush Santa isn't as well fed as City Santa, but he's determined to get there.
Look at him... Poor fellow. (Then again, what on earth is a man in a red suit doing huffing along a bush road? Silly bugger.)
Yes it's surely time for poor old Santa to get a makeover and a more appropriate outfit for Aussie summers - red shorts and thongs, perhaps?
